Amy Burnett: Founder and Director of Player Development
Amy played Division I basketball at the University of Wyoming and spent two years as an assistant at Angleo State University, where she earned a Master's degree in Kinesiology. Amy currently teaches and coaches in Round Rock Independent School District.
While at the University of Wyoming, Amy earned many honors including being named the WAC Player of the Year twice, a KODAK Division I All-American, the Wyoming Woman of the Year, a GTE Academic All-American, earning an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Award, and she set numerous school records. Amy was inducted into the University of Wyoming Hall of Fame in 2000 as a first ballot inductee, the Huron HS Hall of Fame individually in 2001, the South Dakota High School Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015, the Huron HS Hall of Fame with her 1989 State Championship team in 2016, and the South Dakota Sports Hall of Fame in 2017.
Amy was a true all-around athlete at Huron High School. She received many individual accolades in high school including being named South Dakota Miss Basketball in 1990. Burnett was the leading scorer on her 1989 State Championship basketball team and set numerous school and state records. Amy was also named All-State in volleyball and won State in both the shot and discus. She also led her volleyball team to a State runner-up title.

Tamie Felty: Executive Director
Tamie made a Final Four appearance and won a State Championship with her Round Rock Christian Academy Lady Crusaders team in high school.
After graduation Tamie stayed at RRCA to coach the 8th grade Lady Crusaders before going off to college in Phoenix, AZ. Tamie graduated in the top 10% of her class with honors from GCU with a B.S. in Secondary Education and a B.A. in English. Later, she earned a Master's degree in Educational Administration.
After teaching and coaching middle school girls in Phoenix, she returned to Texas to continue her career. She coached in Round Rock ISD, Pflugerville ISD, and ended her school coaching career as the Head Coach of Copperas Cove High School. Tamie then served as an Assistant Principal for six years.
Tamie loves the game of basketball and specializes as a shooting coach. Team builiding is very important to Tamie, and she especially enjoys teaching fundamentally sound team defensive principles. She began coaching with Magic Basketball Club in 2007 and focuses much of her energy on coordinating logistics behind running a large club and hosting quality tournaments and events.

Coach Rodriguez is from Oklahoma City where she attended Westmoore HS. She played college basketball at OU and has coached with Magic Basketball since.
Coach JRod wants to focus on correct fundamentals. She loves to make an impact on people's lives in both sport and on a personal level. She is excited to help the upcoming generations of basketball players.
Originally from Atlanta, GA, Coach Kizzie has been coaching basketball in Texas for 5 years. She played competitive basketball for ten years before suffering a career-ending injury during her freshman year of college. All of these experiences have provided her with a wealth of knowledge in women's basketball. She is highly competitive and firmly believes in the value of hard work. Her goal for every season is to help her players become better basketball players, better athletes, and better individuals. In her free time, she enjoys watching basketball, going to the movies, and listening to music.
Coach Clemons has played basketball all of her life. She found success playing at the shooting guard position throughout her career. She uses her passion for working with young athletes to help develop complete basketball players. This development builds skills, athleticism and confidence while instilling character and integrity. She enjoys her time coaching for Magic Basketball Club where she continues to dedicate her efforts to building good athletes who enjoy playing the game of basketball as much as she does.

Coach Davis, originally from Riverside, California, and an alumnus of Liberty Hill High School, has been deeply engaged with basketball since the age of 5. Over the past 6 years, he has specialized as a speed, agility, quickness, and strength coach focused on athletic development, in addition to coaching select basketball. Davis is deeply interested in the intersection of nutrition and fitness within basketball, aiming to enhance athlete development. His coaching philosophy is centered on refining individual skills, fostering a love for diligent work, and helping players recognize their potential. Ultimately, Davis is dedicated to preparing his athletes for success in the future.
Coach Lowery has been an integral part of the Magic family for over 9 years, playing on the Magic Showcase Team for 4 years and coaching with Magic for 5 years. Her coaching approach is centered on skill development, teamwork, and mental toughness, to nurture both the technical skills and personal growth of her players each season. She cultivates a supportive yet challenging environment that underscores the value of hard work and collaboration. Committed to her athletes' future success, Coach Lowery utilizes her comprehensive understanding of the game, acquired from her extensive experience as both a player and a coach.
Coach LaBelle is from Austin, TX, and played basketball at Westwood High School. With 5 years of coaching experience, he's skilled at developing young talent. His interests include spending time with his fiancée, playing with his dog, enjoying video games, and watching college football, in addition to working on EA's College Football game. LaBelle's main goal each season is to promote individual player growth and foster a team spirit of unity and dedication. He emphasizes the importance of hard work, like hustling for rebounds and loose balls, as well as team work.

Coach Ernst is the girls' coordinator at Grisham MS in Round Rock ISD where he also teaches Math. He has coached with Magic since 2017 when he was trained by Coach Burnett. He connects well with his athletes and helps each of them find confidence and a love for the game. He especially enjoys coaching his future Grizzly athletes in elementary school and 6th grade to prepare them for middle and high school basketball success.

Coach Calvin comes to us from Salt Lake City, Utah. Basketball is his first athletic love and he has played organized basketball since he could bounce a ball. He also enjoys Lacrosse and played at Adams State University where he earned a Master of Science in Sports Administration. Coach Calvin has been coaching youth basketball at many levels for over 5 years. His expectations for the season are for each athlete to maximize the opportunity to develop themselves as individuals and players.

Coach Q is a graduate of Vista Ridge HS in Leander ISD and now works as a teacher at Grisham MS in Round Rock ISD. He has coached for 2 years and played basketball in and out of school. His expectation for the season is to to have a winning season on top of discipline and progress towards being a better players and better young men and women. Coach Q is planning on starting his helicopter pilots license.

Coach Daniel is from South Korea and a graduate from Arlington HS in Arlington, TX. He played multiple sports in middle and high school and has now coached for the past 2 years. He has also been a personal trainer at UT, a strength and conditioning coach at RRHS and a teaching assistant at UT Austin. Coach Daniel looks to develop children into better people and develop basketball skills for children. When not coaching, he likes to play video games, work out, teach soccer, hike and find good food around the Austin area.

Coach Patrick is from Chicago, Illinois where he played basketball in and out of school. He has coached for 8 years . His goal for the season is player development. He wants each player to make big strides in their game. He wants everyone to leave the season having imporoved their individual skills, knowledge of the game and have success on the court. Coach Patrick works a full-time job in the tech field but basketball coaching is his passion and it helps him stay fit and active.

Coach DeMott started coaching Basketball in Florida coaching 8 years ago. In his first year coaching, he took his team all the way to winning the championship! Since then, he knew coaching was for him. He has coached both boys and girls. He played point guard at South Lake High School in Florida. He played FBVA and AAU for over 7 years for a total of 17 years of basketball, all as a PG or SG! He is currently an elementary P.E teacher and loves it. He graduated from Texas State University; go Bobcats!
